You have the character and enemy movement and attacks going good. From my experience; I would not even build out a level until core mechanics are done. Work on a single enemy behavior tree. Get the enemy roaming and sense the player. Get the enemy to strafe after attacking.

If this is your first game; I would keep it simple. Make a game design document with a core gameplay loop. Make sure to build and package your game when adding more code. Just because it plays in the editor does not mean it will build easy. Doing this will catch compile errors early so you can fix them. Game development is very difficult and highly rewarding when you can build a game from start to finish. Keep moving forward and you will get better.
