Psalm 63 - Wishing To Be Close With God

David is on the run, away from home in a dry desert like area and he writes this Psalm about what he wants most.
What would you want most if you were away from home and couldn't go back? Would you want your own bed? A favourite toy or game? Or to see a friend or family member there?
The thing that David longed for was to be close with God. He wants to be close to God as badly as when you are dying for a drink but haven't got one. David knows how great and powerful God is. God can help David with all his problems and God loves David no matter what. David thinks his relationship with God is the best and most important thing he has.
Is your relationship with God like Davids? That you can't get enough of God because He is so good? If not you might need to spend more time seeing how good God is and how worth knowing He is, by reading more of God's word and asking for His help to grow closer to Him.
