With gas costing more than $3 a gallon, it’s no wonder drivers look for the cheapest station. But, auto experts said using Top Tier gas is worth it in the long run, even if it costs a few pennies more per gallon.

The girl managed to say "like" four times in a span of 5 seconds.
Kudos to top tier gas!

I use top tier but certainly not due to consumer or aaa. I use it because it is better and not only uses more additives, it uses better syn type additives. I also use Exxon, Shell, Sinclair, Chevron, Phillips not just one brand.

I only use top tier gas stations. Costco is the best top tier gas station. I love how clean the gas handles.

I’ve noticed when I didn’t use top tier, my car during my round trip commute would noticeably burn more gas. I understand that traffic condition can affect mpg, but this was noticeable. When I switched to exclusively top tier not only did my car not burn as much gas, but the engine accelerated a lot smoother.

3 dollars is a steal. In California it’s $5

It all depends on what you want just like groceries do you buy the name brand with better ingredients or do you buy the generic brand thats cheaper, you get what you pay for and know the benefits or losses your choice will receive quality comes with a price

I get my gas where ever it’s cheapest. Which 99% of the time is RaceTrac and Walmart have never had any type of engine problem related to gasoline. Sounds like marketing

They show zero evidence that "top-tier" is better or how much detergents a gas company actually uses. Show me the evidence otherwise, this is a marketing gimmick. Most gas companies order their gas in bulk at the lowest spot price. The gas delivery truck will dump their fuel into a "top-tier" and then drive down the street to a non "top-tier station using the same gas.

Started using shell when I noticed my motorcycle engine started with more roar, switched to Chevron when I noticed their Diesel allowed me to do 4 round trips from San Diego to LA/Long Beach unstead of the 3 with the cheaper places. With full tanks on the 1st trip the fuel gauge showed less fuel got consumed above 3/4 tank, cheap diesel needle marked below. Same driving habits of cruise control. Also with Chevron diesel the turbocharger PSI gauge showed that it climbed up to 28-29 as opposed to lower 20s.

No, who's to say any additive is better than some other.

Buy at the cheapest station. More detergents? Really how much more detergent? Sorry that’s a secret. Really come on tell us ten drops more fifteen drops more twenty drops more? Sorry it’s a secret. Engineers that build engines use the cheapest gasoline. If it makes you feel better toss in a bottle of Techron now and then.

top tier is mostly about marketing so brands can defend their prices against cheap no name.
