QE II, a woman who put duty before all else. How fitting that she persevered to greet the new British prime minister just a day or so prior to her passing. The queen’s determination and inner strength were incredible. We are grateful to have had the honor of her reign for 70 years. All across the globe her absence will be felt. Sending heartfelt condolences to the royal family at this very sad time.

I just heard about The Queen's passing on the radio an hour ago. Even as an American her passing is very sad. I guess I just never thought about her passing, I just figured she'd live forever.
