Flight School: Signature Nate Sexton XCaliber

Nate Sexton returns to Flight School with his signature Star XCaliber.

The "XCal" is an extremely fast distance driver known for its predictable fade. It achieves maximum distance when thrown low, flat, and hard. The XCaliber can handle headwinds and throws with off-axis torque. Players with less power can use it as a very overstable utility disc—something curve hard around an obstacle.

I love the XCal, the destroyer is a bit too wide for my small hands, but the XCal is just a tad smaller, barely wider than the Wraith. It is more comfortable in my hand. I love it for forehands that need to go a bit farther than a Firebird, and backhand shots that can't flip over. I notice that the XCal tends to tumble more than take a big skip, which is nice because it tends to sit down quickly.

Playing in windy conditions year-round, this disc is money for those low flat forehands that need to push then fade hard. Great feel and solid dependability! I don't throw the destroyer (wraith is my go-to bomber) but the Xcal is a great compliment

As someone who bags 3 of these, they are fantastic. Its a hybrid between a Destroyer and a Firebird. Super overstable when new though.
