“Chladni plate” vibrating to various sine wave Sound Frequencies!

The organic fingerprints of the materials voice is revealed, as it is vibrated through its resonant modes!

Sand is sprinkled chaotically over the plate before becoming orderly and patterned, only when vibrating to its particular resonating sound frequency.
The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength, which creates closer nodes (where the sand is settling)
Here we are able to visualise where and how the plate is vibrating in real time, as the different frequencies affect it.
The waves radiate out from the centre, and once they hit the edge, are reflected back in toward the centre again.
We are seeing the interference and intersection of waves cancelling and amplifying on themselves.
Points where he plate is vibrating is called the anti-nodes (that is the black space here). And where there is stillness the sand settles, these are the nodes.
