Brief demo of the KK7B High Performance Direct Conversion Receiver on the 40 meters CW BAND....using the KK7B -1 KHZ - on board - CW audio filter, scanning up and down the band for some cw signals and recording a few of them that were heard today(band was not in great shape)

the audio you hear is from the headphone//speaker jack of this KK7B Receiver - connecting to an audio cable from that speaker audio output jack - over to a USB SOUND CARD LINE INPUT - and then to this recording laptop...

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it doesn't look like you built it all through the final audio output transistors. Did you omit Q8, Q9, R32, and R33, per the text of the article for use "for portable operation with low impedance headphones?" Is that correct? Thanks for clarifying.
