My Favorite Shot From Reign of Fire

One of my top 10 favourite scenes & movies about dragons of all time. 😎😉


One pass, he flew over us just once. 🔥

A flying living napalm flame thrower. 😅


Great movie for its time about 21 years ago now... and I still have the PS2 game version of it from back then & still playable with the console = where you play as one of the military American survivors of the group in vehicles that came to the castle fort and help out the British survivors there.

Killing many dragons from Jackals, which are baby dragons on the ground like raptors + spit fires = which are small versions of air dragons in their early flight periods in vast numbers being easy but dangerous to take down in vast numbers, then there's the regular female dragons from the film which are a force to look out for known as dive bombers.

Then the napalm breather, which burns entire fields and yourself in fire if not careful without water nearby or water bombs on you to put it all out + then the black snorter = which is a ground version of the napalm breather but more like the regulars & like the male.

Then the egg mothers = the female dragons that are nesting and pop out Jackals whenever they're ready after hatching to throw out at you while breathing fire at you like the two above if you get way too close.

And then finally, the last boss is of cause the bull dragon = which is almost like a small Godzilla size dragon which takes up two final missions to kill off... but I think is almost as good as the movie itself or better in some areas if it was made into a series back then.

And once you've completed the human campaign, with or without gold or platinum medals... you can play one of the young female adult dragons to take down humanity, up until you destroy the castle fort like in the movie itself = but more epic.

If only they could remaster or remake the game for today's consoles with better graphics and improvements all around... I would most certainly buy & play it again for live streams when that happens.

And one of the two music of the film is on it as well... good old times indeed, I couldn't stop drawing all the dragon types from the game back then onto paper = which I still have even now somewhere.


I think my next scene in this film as a main favourite for me is when the dragon awakens from the digging gas tunnel sight and it shows what happened in story to the world told by Christian Bale/Quint before the farm gets all burned... but the ending battle was epic as well.

And of cause the arc angel scenes where they try to net the dragon to kill, and fail miserably, until Quint & Van Zan take care of it afterwards.


However, that Bull Dragon along with its many daughters from one to a million or more described in the film & trailer are no match for my own dragon if they fought, let alone if the kingdom was involved itself.
