This is the quote that stuck with me the most in any tv show or movie.
It makes a lot of things clearer, yes it kinda sucks that you didn’t get the job you want at the first try but what really makes you sad is that you expected to get it the first time. You thought that (happiness would be more common than unhappiness) but it wasn’t so it was a slap in the face.
We’re not unfortunate, we’re just going through life. Happiness does exist, but it’s not as much as we think. so we should go through the hard times and cherish the few good times.

Hapiness doesnt leave a legacy, something you can feel or look with your eyes.
Hapiness is a distraction from all the things that matter really. Hence the "their hapiness is neither here nor there". Its smoke, a feeble thing that by its own nature doesnt last.

Divorce rates are skyrocketing because people dont understand this advice or what a commitment is. Plus you do it for the kids, you should never want to break apart a family because you simply “dont love that person anymore.” Its time for you to be a parent, grow up, work through your differences or accept the fact that you will have to raise a kid with that person despite the struggles.
