Lets Build Twitter From the Ground Up: Episode 176 || Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and React

Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we wrap up work for now in the mentions portion of our notifications page. To do this we start out by fixing a mistake in our mention notification hero css, and fix an undefined error in the NotificationSlice. Then we move forward with creating a popup modal for when a user clicks on the learn more text in the mentions section of notifications. We create a top component for the modal which simply allows the user to close the modal, and a content section which display some static content. Finally, we wrap up the episode by setting up the navigation component to actually get rid of the notification bubble when we read all of our notifications.
