I do love how Sci-Show is one of the only science news feeds I have seen that makes it pretty clear when something is still heavily conceptual and it will be a long time before we see something like it in action. So many other news sites click-bait the fuck out of this stuff or over exaggerate how much progress they are making with some of these more science fiction like ideas and inventions.

It's worth pointing out that acetaminophen is paracetamol to the rest of the world. It's not just me saying that, paracetamol actually is the International Non-proprietary Name for the drug.

You guys are the first people besides my dad who knew what a Hyperloop was before I told them.

Just had ACL reconstruction surgery and am on oxycodone and I think its more the fact that I don't give a shit about a lot of things when I'm on opiates.

Acitomenophenimine? Oh, you mean PARACETAMOL

Paracetamol has been a life saver for me when dealing with breakups, I've known about this for a long time, and it does work for the day it feels painful. Guess emotional pain activates the same neuro-receptors as physical pain.

Why are the top two comments about sex and masturbation?

PLEASE DO MORE ON LACK OF EMPATHY. I've never had the capability of feeling empathy, and I'd like to learn more.

Is there any benefit of (not) masturbating?

The first part seems obvious and intuitive. Understanding others' feelings is what separates empathy from sympathy. It's the same principle applied to wealth, if you have a lot of money (low pain) you find it hard to empathize with those who are poor (in a lot of pain). It's not some magic paracetamol is doing, it shows that our physical health directly correlates to our mental health, which again, is obvious and intuitive given a modern understanding of physiology.

Wait, isn't Hyperloop supposed to be non-vacuum but the air is driven so fast that it basically provides no resistance?

Edit: Oh partial vacuum.

I think the same is for Hydrocodone. someone I know has been on it for about a decade and a half, since then she has lost trust for everyone in her family, became paranoid, started hearing voices and cant see that the way she behaves by yelling and screaming is affecting those around her. She is hyperfocused on her self.

Michael Aranda is getting better and better, but also his themes and scripts. New writers?

Dislike for not using the name paracetamol in the video. There are a lot of non-US viewers who won't know what tylenol is. I expect better from Scishow

I can already foresee a big safety issue with hyperloops. That issue being that they travel through vacuum tubes. If something goes wrong and a shuttle is no longer able to move forward the people inside the shuttle can't leave. And because they are designed for travelling off the ground at high speeds getting to the nearest station might take several hours if they are towed. And that is ignoring the time it takes for the towing vehicle to reach it.
