3:07 When I saw this in the theaters, I honestly teared up a bit. The beautiful shot of the X-Wings gliding right over the water, with the sound of the engines filling your body with adrenaline, and the music blasting with triumph... this is the best scene in the movie, and one of the best in the saga.

The arrival of the Resistance gave me goosebumps, and it's funny to see how the Rebels ran from the Empire before, and now they're chasing after the First Order.

1:17 with the “C’mon Chewie!!!” gave me chills. Because for a quick second, Harrison Ford sounded just like he did back in 1980. He’s an old guy now, so it’s not expected for him to sound exactly like he did 40+ years ago, but it’s always nice to hear it when we can 🙂

4:01 really made me tear up cause that was the best dogfight I've ever seen in my opinion! And as Finn said, "That's one hell of a pilot!" Poe is def one of the greats!

3:00 that is smart move of the resistance.

As far as I am aware (correct me hear) this is the first proper encounter between the first order and the resistance. For the resistance they know that numbers are on the first order however for the first order they know that the resistance is smaller but are unsure of exactly how big.

So when they arrive hear by flying low kicking up a large spray of water they occomplish 2 things.
1: they make a tsunami like wave that just comes fast at them creating some form of fear

2: by having this large spray of water they actually make the resistance look bigger than it actually is.

Quite smart in my opinion.

01:31 Finn switching on Anakin’s/Luke’s lightsaber is probably one of the most powerful and meaningful moments of The Force Awakens. Its roaring sound and its brightness evoke the ancient Jedi power and their millenial history, as well as the mythological dimension they were conceived 30 years later after the events of The Return of the Jedi. Probably the most suggestive scenes of the new trilogy.

This is Star Wars. One of the best scenes if not the best in the sequels and up there with some of the best scenes in the saga. At this point I still had hope for the sequels.
