We at MotorBeam ride the 5th iteration of the Honda Activa. Launched this year the Activa gets very few changes which include a new headlight, as Activa 5G badge and new colour options. Powered by the same 110cc engine the Activa still produces 8 BHP of power and 9 Nm of torque. While the Activa is still the same underneath is it really a new scooter?

Cons:
1- no telescopic and nitro suspension.
2-No alloy wheels.
4-No 12 inch tyres.
5-No external fuel lid.
6-Vibratory handle.
7-No led at the back.
8-Doesn't get indicator buzzer.
9-No low fuel warning light.
10-no disc brake option.

I had done 70500kms on my 2011model Activa till ate.its a very reliable machine and I took it to tours ranging from 300-600kms in a single day.and I touched top speed of 110kmph.only regular maintenance required it's a best in class scooter no other scooter matches Activa.

Had an 2013 Activa which was sold last year and replaced with a Hero Duet. It's more VFM. Duet has an OTR of 61k compared to the ridiculous amount of almost 67k for Activa. Earlier Duet models had quality issues but the current one offers great value with the demo digital console, telescopic forks on front, external fuel filling and cheaper accessories and servicing. There you go. Already three reasons to consider an alternative from Hero MotorCorp already.

Nice review bro. The verdict at the end you have given is awesome and the minor points like "when with a pillion the suspension behavior change" is awesome.. Nice and perfect analysis.

This kind of analysis is needed for many prospective buyers.

And i like to add a point.. Keeping disc brake aside..
The suspension both front and back, Wheel rim size with alloys and overall bulkiness of the Activa are - ve points. If they sort these out it will be a nightmare to the competition.

But Jupiter's ride quality, suspension, looks, practicality is unbeatable. What a scooter it is.. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Guys who get low mileage just make sure ur tyre pressure is maintained as recommended, no rash driving, consistent servicing as and when required only in authorized Honda garage, use genuine Honda engine oil. Do this and I am sure mileage will increase significantly
