This guy shows a complete lack of understanding in socialistic principles/communism in a whole. First of all in communist societies or socialistic ones people are still rewarded for good productivity, that is not a feature of capitalism. For example the highest paying job in the Ussr was a nuclear scientist. Secondly in socialistic nations welfare does not cause laziness. Laziness causes laziness. If you could stay at home, no job, no need to go out side, no pressure, you would very quickly get bored. This boredom leads to creativity and drive. In a communist system where all are given the basics to live, people will feel motivated to do things they like, jobs they like, art they like etc. This is evident after the cultural flourishing in also the USSR after the revolution. Everyday people instead of focusing on food and survival picked the arts. And plane and simple. All communist nations that failed, failed because of other capitalist nations attacks on them. The USSR fell not due to a “internal” revolution that dissolved the nation by Boris. Boris was supported by American in every step of the way. The Ussr failed because of war, not socialism.
