Walking in Izmir/Konak, Turkey, Summer 2021

Hi everyone,

We shot this video walking from Üçyol Metro Station to Konak in the late afternoon.

There are several ways to walk from the Bahçelievler neighborhood to Konak or if you prefer, you can just take the subway and ride one stop. In order to use the public transportation in Izmir you can either buy an Izmir card and keep uploading the amount you want to use or buy the so called “Bilet 35’ - we bought it for 14 TL and it was good for 3 single rides.

Just to let you know that our flight to Dalaman was cancelled for the second time! We were due to fly out on 9th August, but all flights with EasyJet have been cancelled up until 27th August. We have decided to give up after trying to get to our booked apartment. We will still carry on watching your vlogs and thank you for showing us how wonderful Turkey is!
