just discovered this band recently. streets ahead of any other contemporary music. i should know, i'm your oldest fan at 68 years.

I know I'm 4 years late to the party, but this band transcends literally every other contemporary band. This ability to make soul drenched music of surprising complexity... effortlessly drifting through time signatures while maintaining irresistible groove - it's just incredible to me. It is such a monolithic talent to be able to construct songs the way Hiatus Kaiyote does. I am very inspired and I'm going to write some music now.

This is hands down my favorite band alive. I didn't know who they were when I first saw them at a show they played with Erykah Badu about 4 years ago at sxsw. I met the band, we talked about turtles, and I gave Nai redbulls. She rubbed something on my wrist that I still have no idea till this day what it was. Greatful for their existence.

D'Axles Dream: (U)nity and this song has some of the dopest tempo, and tempo signatures that I love practicing to. The vocal and music arrangements in this song is beyond words. I usually don't compare real, true music artist but to me, they're just the best.
