Driver Easy Review and Tutorial

Driver Easy will scan your computer, tell you what drivers are missing or outdated, then download them all. It works well but comes with some limitations in the free version.

After you download it, it gives you a file. What do you click to actually download the driver?

I rebooted my pc and it was automatically on my pc I dont think I need it because I have norton security instead, Should I delete it?

I can for sure recommend Driver Easy if you pay for the full version and have major issues with Windows. E.g. frequent hangs and crashes. It fixed my Windows 10 so I am happy I found this type of software. But I really feel Microsoft should be able to fixed the drivers within the OS, so I was suprised when I found out the hard way that not even Windows 10 does this well. So if you want to make sure you have updated drivers you need this kind of software. So I highly recommend from my side and it is not that expensive. Especially good if you have build your own PC and/or have upgraded Win from earlier versions (e.g. from win7 to win10).

I had to use it today but It doesn't seem to actually update the things just download them and after that you're own your own to try to update the drivers

After using Driver Easy it said my drivers were updated but still had no use of printer. Nor would any solution from Microsoft let me add a printer. Finally went to HP Support (I have Officejet Pro 8610) and the download was there for windows 10. Took less than 10 mins to download & install drivers & set up printer with step by step instructions including wireless if I chose so. Was able to print immediately!

Where's the "tutorial" part? lol wtf ... All I learned here is you like Driver Booster better

Strongly dislike. You need to buy full version to do the basic things I expected it to do regardless of which version you have.

This is NOT FREE. There is NO WAY to actually install the new drivers unless you pay them.
