I found another way which works too. Divide 150, 000 by three to get $50, 000/ share. Then multiply 3:5:6 by the 50, 000 to get how much each share equals. Thank you for the videos and the books for Praxis!

I did this one a little differently and still got the same answer. I filled in the 3:5:6 as 150, x, 300. I added 3+6 to get 9, then set up my ratio as 9/450 5/x, cross multiplied, then divided to get 250. After adding the 150, 250, and 300, I got 700. It seems my method had more steps. Did I just get lucky, or on test day can I do what works most conveniently?
