Christmas Gingerbread Men | Jools Oliver | Classic

Have some fun in the kitchen this with a classic gingerbread recipe your kids will love to make. Decorate your people using dried fruits, nuts and coconut for a healthier treat that tastes fantastic. A great way to spend time with the kids and have something delicious to eat as well!

Jamie has a full life as you can see. It’s not all about money and tv shows and book signings. He’s got the family life too. Kudos Jamie. Love what ur doing. Well up jools too. Lovely way she deals with the kids. Saying she likes what they’ve done and encouraging them.

Here are the ingredients:
300g plain flour
1 tsp of bicarbonate soda (in the video she says 1/2 tsp, but at the website was 1tsp)
2 tsps of ground Ginger (I would put 3tsps)
1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
125g of unsalted butter (I would put 130g of butter instead, because I found it a bit dry even when I didn’t add extra 1tsp of ground ginger)
100g of soft light brown sugar
3 tbsps of golden syrup (I’m using honey, it works too)

I personally love how simple this recipe is and how imperfect the gingerbread were... Looked genuine. Just a good bit of family fun. I enjoyed this.
