I look foward to Vegas Pro 18. One of the best and most powerful video anr music editor in the world, looking forward to the new AI Technologies that are being implemented in the new Vegas Pro Settings and also more features.. Mr Rebholz and his team (VEGAS Creatives Software) Are a very hard working group and they have been for years and just remember that lots of things are gonna change once VEGAS Pro 18 comes out,


One thing that triggers me is that Sony Vegas in general as a program is very underrated and in my opinion Vegas Pro deserves more people for an amazing editor it is very underrated and thats all I had to say..

Hope you're listening VEGAS, one thing that would be very helpful for me is to be able to see the background layer while in pan/crop window so that I can mask the foreground layer to match the background. For example, say my background layer has a window and I want to mask in someone to look like they are standing behind it. In Premiere I was able to put the person on the top layer and in that layer, mask out the person to match the frame of the window below so only the masked out panes of glass revealed the person. In Vegas I have to copy the background layer with the window, paste it above the layer with the person creating a sandwich and the mask out the duplicated top layer so it shows the person in the middle layer. I hope that make sense. The difference is, I can insert something or someone into the background layer with two layers in premiere while I have to create a 3 layer sandwich in vegas to get the same effect, just because pan/crop hides the background layer.

I'm a big fan of VEGAS PRO. It's like a gem to me. I started using it wayback Sony vegas pro 10. when I am a scholar student in the news industry. they pay everything ( my tuition ) and I just edit for them.

sadly, time flies and vegas pro is not keeping up with modern media. I am now working on dropshipping videos full time and I had to shift my self on other software because VEGAS PRO 17 or 18 for sure, won't have any MODERN text animations, lowerthirds. I really hope vegas pro could step up the game and throw us an MAJOR update.

It's a very game changer in the future if they will have any lowerthirds. would love to use this gem again. hopefully, hopefully I will see pre-made lowerthirds, titles animations and reveals in vegas software.

Hi! I have a question: does Vegas 18 have a graph editor for keyframes interpolation? If not, could you pls consider adding it in a future version? I'd really like to make smoother animations without creating tons and tons of keyframes.
I've always used Vegas and i'm love with it, i love how MAGIX team is giving this program a new life and i don't want to switch to another editor because of one missing feature...

I'm still on Vegas 14 because 17 just DOESN'T. WORK.

1) The screen recorder function didn't work. It wouldn't detect my microphone at all (and don't patronise me by assuming I'm not computer literate. I tried EVERYTHING). Then when I tried a test recording anyway, upon trying to save, it just.... wouldn't. THEN it crashed the base Vegas program (the screen recorder can be left running as a standalone application).
2) The first/only video I rendered in it experienced an audio skip halfway through which saw it jump to the last few seconds of the audio track, but continue playing video in silence. A second render, without changing ANY settings, produced a flawless video as expected the first time.
3) Support suggested that to fix my AUDIO issues I reinstall my GRAPHICS drivers. How many people have their time wasted on these redundant, ridiculous suggestions?

Will VP18 require increased horsepower in my PC? Will VP18 reduce the frequency in which VP17 freezes and locks-up? I just upgraded to VP17 4/30/20...any special discount?
