From what I understand, the voltage would be out of phase after the coil and that's why you turn the phasor diagram of the coil, right? Actually I think that the voltage would still be 230 in total, what happens is that the measuring device makes that vector sum but I do not understand why. It would make more sense to me to measure 230 in both the coil and the resistor considering that it is the same voltage but out of phase. Maybe I'm wrong, and I have no idea what I'm talking about.
