Difference between Organic and Inorganic Compounds
Organic compounds contain carbon. There are at least four important organic compounds, lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, and nucleic acids.
Inorganic compounds do not contain carbon and usually are more simple compounds.
There are some compounds that contain carbon and are inorganic like carbon dioxide.

To avoid confusion instead of saying Inorganic compound doesn't have carbon, inorganic compounds do not have carbon-hydrogen bond

If anyone's wondering why CO2 Is not considered organic, In order to be an organic compound, There should be 1 or more atoms of hydrogen directly attached to the carbon atom. In the case of CO2, there is no hydrogen atom, hence there can't be a direct attachment.

Interesting thought I had (to me at least lol)... "Mother Nature", aka "science", seems to prefer absolutes.. aka math, and physical laws. I can't help but wonder if we simply have a misunderstanding or lack of knowledge when we categorize "organic" and "inorganic" in general. I've no idea how cyanide or the other "inorganic" exceptions relating to carbon "could be" associated with organic, aka "life".. but makes me wonder. Even stranger to me, is that these "inorganic" carbon compounds usually demote certain forms life and yet promote other forms..
