UPDATE! To upgrade the three items, you DON'T need to shoot the runes in tier 3. All you need to do is go where the ritual will take place and get the "Perform the Summoning" prompt and activate it. (Please reply to this with more details if you found it. Because I've already completed the step, I can't test this for myself)

The hardest thing about the new dark aether rift is trying to get your rewards at the end of the contract whilst being swarmed by 10 mimics, 7 manglers and 4 disciples

I really like how intense this new rift is. I had to come up with a couple strategies and risk going down once during my first session. The rewards and schematics didn’t seem all that promising, but holy hell did I have fun.

For upgrading the items at the triangle rituals, I found that if you start the summoning during the regular ritual, it will override your rewards from the Legendary Wrench and Tier 3 Frystal to the upgraded items. HOWEVER you can wait until after completing the regular ritual to get them, then activate the summoning seperatelu to gain both sets of rewards. The summoning can also be done even if you weren't the one to do the regular ritual. Saved me a lot of headache when I stumbled across it on accident.

Dog and other players made this difficult first time doing it. I found it easier to let dog die and attempt the rituals in the last 15 mins after most players in game have already did the ritual.

On the plus side, everyone is so busy farming wrenches and crystals they practically ignore the deliver cargo contract.

FYI. After the SS3 Reloaded, I could do it even the triangle had been activated and completed by other players. I just stood where I could see the complete big triagle and it popped up the quest to activate. Many thanks, Doughnuts. Your many clips have been making my life a lot easier. 😁🥰🙏

I’ve done this four times now, with zero success. The game keeps crashing and I lose all the items. I go back in, get the items again, start the summoning and then the game crashes to the dashboard. I’m not playing zombies until they give us a stability patch. Just not worth it

A bit of information for those who do not know if you get all the pc Open the portal and 1 person each puts a Peace in Each altar They can all Open the portal any time they like Long as they put 1 part in on the altar and yes after next game you can open it any time hope this helps you out

Man I could cry. My friend and I did the new story quest then got all items then upgraded all and when we wanted to go the the portal with my last elder sigil my game crashed and I lost everything. Got to extract lvl 75 (I was 160). I lost every upgraded Item….. I‘m very down…it took us a long time. Everything lost

The new aether is not solo friendly tried the elder and got hammered.

It helps if you go with two or three ppl to the dark aether. Everyone bring sentry guns. A couple for the outlast and 3 for the acv

I think the nuke power up is the best to get first. Having a nuke every 30 seconds is a lifesaver

you do not need to shoot the symbols to do the triangle to upgrade the relics. on one of my relics I only shot one symbol and the other two I didn't shoot any and I was playing by myself. just go up to the section and move around until you find the perform summoning and activate.

The new dark aether would be amazing if the schematics where the fast foot, the exploding head reward an if the beret soldier was able to revive you, , would be worth going back into this dark aether, only dark aether that's worth going back to is the first one to get the armour an blade, lately though I've just been getting dog bones but some nice person swapped me a armour for a legendary tool, great vid btw doughnuts,

I suggest if your going in elder or regular you run 4 sentry’s 2 for escort a one for the others 2 mortar or prescision air strikes and either the scorcher or vr11 and the fjx with what ever schematics you can bring in
