I think the watch looks more refined. I like it, but I would think at the price point it should have a high beat Miyota 28, 800 beats per hour which would give it a smoother sweeping second hand. Just my 2 cents.

Now I'm wondering where that extra 30m came from. Let's see: ostensibly the same case, back and crystal, so we're talking O-rings and/or gaskets ... or maybe they just employed a really big dude to screw the back on tighter. It remains a pretty nice watch anyway - a bit out of the usual run.

I wish it had drilled lugs but that is my only criticism. The Bradner is a good watch in my opinion.

Loved the sarcasm on the water resistance! It does seem kind of ridiculous to only go an extra 30 meters of WR. It’s a good looking watch at good value, but still too many other options out there in the diver category and I still can’t bring myself to like Spinnaker! Thanks Oleg! They look so much....err kinda like one and the mean....sorta....like a little similar?
I know Rolex guys love hearing all the minutiae concerning dial changes, colour, design, print fonts, etc., but I doubt the spin-achers are there yet.

On the other hand, the new layout fixes all previous design flaws....now it don't look so chintzy .... at least 20% more classy.

I do hope Spinnaker didn't invest a lot of time and money on the extra 30m WR. I have no issues with a leather strap on a Dive watch as most if not all buy for the style. If you do want to get it wet you can always change the strap. Still think if I was to go for a Spinnaker I'd go for the wreck. Just a more interesting design, imo. Thanks 👍

My first Bradner was one of those that the bezel froze and was replaced under warranty. It is my most worn watch and if you like
it as of today, use OFD30 on their web site and get the Bradner for less than $200

As always, you have produced a very nice video Oleg. Thanks for the good work! I’ve been pondering the improvements Spinnaker made to its Bradner model. On the one hand, this is a good thing. I mean who can be upset with upgrades. Well, as I think of it, anyone who purchased the older model Bradner now has a watch which has depreciated drastically overnight merely because Spinnaker made these improvements. Don’t know if this makes sense, but if i bought the old model a month ago and now all the improvements have been made and its for sale at the same price, I might be a bit upset with Spinnaker. What is to say that if I purchase the new improved Bradner model this June, that Spinnaker will not improve the Lume, movement, Water Resistance, etc. again, say in September...and so on and so on...maybe it was the end of the model year...I don’t now...but it seems unfair to Spinnaker’s customers who bought the old model....maybe I’m wrong on this one....just not sure....
