People pretending that lack of interest is why theatres aren't packed full, and not the truth: that tickets are too damn expensive because no government is interested in funding the arts when sports are more popular with the common masses.

Interesting how several said it brings the youth to the theatre...but nobody mentioned how it might give elders a way to connect to hip-hop. As an older guy, rap and hip-hop have always been a bit of an enigma to me. Maybe Hamilton is a way in. Disney, here I come.
