One of the most memorable world cup matches I have watched. Both teams fought so hard for 120 minutes, the algerian players looked like they were in so much pain for the last 15 minutes but they still gave an end to end performance. That is what makes the world cup so special, giving everything you have on the pitch for your nation.

I remember this game really well & that Algerian team in that wc, they were excellent. Unlucky to lose to Belgium, easily beat South Korea then deserved to beat Russia. Imo other than in the final, no other team pushed Germany so much. Delighted they won the AFCON
