Alicante (Alacant) is located in the southeast of Spain, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Alicante is the capital of Alicante Province, but also a port on the Costa Blanca in Spain. The Alicante airport is currently the fifth largest airport in Spain and is the gateway to the Costa Blanca resort region.

Very nice city, I have been there several times and I am looking forward to come back in autumn. The information on the weather are totally wrong, by the way. It's not so hot in summer and it's not cold at all in winter!
