You're absolutely right and it's hard to imagine all of the possible ways a person could injure themselves, while using the stairway like this. However, it's our obligation as property owners, contractors and construction workers to reduce as many of those possibilities as they possibly can.

a person could fall down the last couple steps and hit that light poll just right and throw their back out or damage their neck...that's a bad situation...thanks for sharing..
