I think Parasite is a pretty sick villain. Great design and power set for countering Superman, often requiring Superman to outsmart him rather than relying on brute force.

Personally my favorite Superman villain group is The Elite. They had 1 comic but it was a great examination of Superman’s moral philosophy. They did a PEAK animated movie about it.

Parasite, Toyman, and Mongul are also pretty good. I hope James Gunn will expand Superman's rogues gallery in the dcu! Instead of just using Lex luthor.

Atomic Skull, while not my favorite villain, has always been interesting to me, because think about it, the guy gives off massive amounts of dangerous radiation, and it’s harmless to Superman, but it’s deadly against bystanders, and it’s interesting seeing Superman try to save as many people as he can while fighting him.

The thing I have always observed is that Superman is so strong that everyone thinks he has no rogues. Plus he saves the day all the time.

While for Batman all of his rogues will always find a way to win. But Batman will beat them. The only reason we all remember Batman villains is that he doesn’t kill them.

I'd say I have TWO favorite *Superman* villains: *Parasite* and *Brainiac.* They both are fascinating to me.

My favourite is Mr. Mxyzptlk because the sort of fifth dimension fairy tale magic is so at odds with the normal hero universe

General Zod has so much potential. I'd imagine him showing up early in Superman's story and he would tell him about Krypton's culture and Kal-Els parents, but he would twist the truth so he would look like the good guy, so that Superman would become his loyal pawn, just for Superman to somehow find out that he's not as benevolent as he seems and then Zod would drop the facade and essentially go full Omni-Man on Clark. And everytime they face off Clark would have conflicted feelings about fighting him, since he's on one hand extremely evil, but on the other hand, he's the only connection he has to Krypton (at least before Supergirl arrvies to earth)

Aside from Lex Luthor and Brainiac, my favourite Superman villain by far is Mister Mxyzptlk. He had by far some of the best issues of the Superman Adventures tie-in comics.

My favorite Superman villain not covered in your video is the Parasite. Ugly purple monster who can siphon Superman's powers in close proximity, so Superman can't take him out with his power; he has to use his brain.

Manchester black. Both his appearances in "what so funny about truth, justice and the American way?" And "ending battle" were awesome.

Also parasite. I wish they used him more often.
