Ankh: Gods of Egypt - Everything We Know So Far

Ankh: Gods of Egypt will be the next Kickstarter game by Cool Mini or Not, coming in early 2020. In this video, I cover the basics of what we know so far, what CMON has told us and a how to play overview. This game is going to be big, likely topping 3 million and potentially hitting 5, although with Kickstarter board games continuing to be more and more competitive, it's a tough call to know for sure.

I haven't had the pleasure of playing Blood Rage or Rising Sun yet but hoping to at Dice Tower East. When I met Eric Lang and heard about Ankh I was super excited because he is a really smart guy, and I hear so much good about Blood Rage and Rising Sun. The problem though comes in how CMON runs it's Kickstarters. If they ran them a little differently I would be much more excited. I don't like being an early backer only to find out I have to end up more than doubling the whole pledge by the end of the campaign in order to get just the gameplay stuff since so much of it is KS exclusive. If the expansions were coming to retail it would be no big deal. And exclusive upgrades etc, I don't mind either...

Really appreciate your video, it looks like a fun game and I hope CMON gets their act together. I know I am just one buyer but only thing I can do is vote with my wallet and hope eventually they stop predatory KS campaigns. It works well for them though, so they will most likely keep doing it.
