That's not what you do with a broken tile ~2:35 . . .
1) Replace it.
2) If you can't replace it, rotate a tile from the lowest edge of the roof into a higher spot where the broken tile was, and put the repaired tile onto the lowest edge possible. That way when it leaks it only leaks water into the eave not the roofspace / ceiling cavity of the house.
3) The sealing repair for the broken tile should be made smooth and level with the tile, not stick up like shown. This improves water runoff, reduces roof debris getting caught there, and is better to look at.
