Scrabble board game rules
The object of scrabble is to score more points than other players.
As words are placed on the game board, points are collected and each letter that is used in the game will have a different point value.
The main strategy is to play words that have the highest possible score based on the combination of letters.
It requires the scrabble game board, 100 letter tiles, and tile racks.
100 tiles are used in this game and 98 of them will contain letters and point values.
2 blank tiles can be used as wild tiles which can take the place of any letter.
Players build off of at least one tile in each other's words until no one can build any more words. The player with the highest score wins.

0:45 this is a somewhat common house rule, but is not part of the official Scrabble rules, and tournament Scrabble does not use the "recycling" of blanks.
5:09 the first word does not have to start on the center.
Players can also play parallel to words, extend or hook words to make several words simultaneously, etc.

wrong information about use of the blank. once placed, you cannot change the blank even if you have the tile it represents

`Clarity on "One Single Use"`
If a player formed and word and got:
i. Double letter (x2 of tile value)
ii. Double word score (x2 of total tiles value)
And got a score of 32points

If another player plays by dropping 'S' to extend the word.
What will be this player's score??

Thank you for the video. My husband tried spelling a word going upwards (not in the same direction as the rest of the words) Is this allowed? We just about got into a huge discussion if this can be done.

I need more clarity on "One Single Use".
For instance a player formed a word with a double word score and got 18points, another forms a word from the tile having the double word score of the previous player, without hitting any other bonus multiplier, what will be the person's score??
Will the score be just the sum value of the tiles without adding the 2word score bonus?

Yep. The extra 50 pts for using all letter from your rack is known as a "bingo".
