I don't understand why there has to be bashing of our candidates. Disagreeing with someones policies, not believing what they say or simply not liking them...all fine. I'd personally like reading the opinions of others, but only when those opinions or comments are presented in a fair and mature manner. Anything else is destructive and not worth anything.

Marco Rubio may very well be a "decent guy" and a "good, family man, " as several people have commented on here. I have no idea. I've met him twice but don't know him at all. What I do know is that the man is not ready to be president. He is Obama 2.0, the Republican version -- a lightweight freshman senator who has no real-world experience running any type of business, nonprofit organization or government agency. Worse than that, he is being handled from sun up to sun down by the behind-the-scenes political operatives running his campaign. He's moderately intelligent and comes off fairly well-spoken, but it's still patently obvious that almost every word coming out of his mouth is scripted or culled from well-rehearsed talking points. I don't want another George W. Bush or Barack Obama in the White House. I want someone who knows how to lead, can take decisive action without having to consult with a bunch of unaccountable neo-cons (in the case of Bush) or social Democrats (in the case of Obama) every time a crisis large or small gets dropped in the country's lap.
