The most important part of this studio is Bob.. and he is fireproof... losing your home and gear sucks... but Bob is forever..

If there is anyone who can rebuild another place as good (or better than this), it's Bob. My heart goes out to him, his family and his team.

Bob says that the first recording that the did in this room was "Streets of Philadelphia", by Bruce Springsteen. As per many of Bob's recordings, this one is pure audiophile (for rock/pop recordings). Thanks, Bob !

Late were loaded into a van at the Apogee Factory and were driving through the Arrived at a House and as we approached the Door Opened and there was Bob Clearmountain standing before us. I'll never forget that day he is a truly humble and giving person. After the stories of how he got the board in there and the usual Apogee Stuff we were invited to venture into the reverb chamber ect ect. The vibe in that studio was a dream for me.

Who doesn't love Bob! Cool getting to see a little bit more of his space like his machine room than I've seen in prior tours. Good stuff!

So sorry that the space that you’ve had for so long created so many masterpieces on is gone. I wish you all the best and hope that you can rebuild in some way shape or form.

I love seeing that he doesn't have the newest of the new computers, converters, clocks and all. There is so much debate on those things, that it gets annoying. A lot of inspiration comes from this guy.

What a wonderful record of a fantastic space with so much history that has now tragically gone 😢

Had the privilege of a short but sweet hangout at Mix This in it's early phase. The ears and talent still stand

Crowded House is where I first learned Bob's name. His mixing on Woodface and Temple of Low Men is just fantastic

I love seeing Bob interviewed - as a recording hobbyist and hope-to-be retiree within the next year or so, nothing would make me happier than to apprentice with him over the next 10 years. How very much he could teach a person willing to learn.

God bless you Bob. Praying that God will give you his presence, his wisdom, his guidance and his grace as you move forward. Praying that God will let you rebuild your beautiful studio. And that you will build a better one than before. It would be an honor to record music there with you some day. Shalom shalom to you Bob. Love you brother.

I prefer Bob Clearmountain's opinion over many others. I have followed him since the Hall & Oates Albums.
