The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is FINALLY coming to Australia, and I'm here to tell you if it's BETTER than before...

The Skoda Kodiaq, from European Czech brand Skoda, has always been the 'smart' choice for SUV buyers, perhaps at the expense of being a little boring to drive. So the all-new Skoda Kodiaq, which now uses the new Volkswagen Group MEB-Evo platform shared with cars like the all-new Volkswagen Golf GTI, and that makes this 7-seat family SUV actually fun to drive.

So should you be lining up to order one when they arrive soon? Let's talk about that in today's review!

This looks very good but sadly after my awful experience with VW, I will steer clear of any VAG product in Australia.
Although these can be very good cars in Europe, but in Australia mechanics and not even dealers have the right knowledge to fix them. Whilst these are economic cars in Europe, in Australia they are suddenly called “European Premium” and cost an awful lot to maintain 🥲

How do you compare the Kodiaq with the Terramar please?
Nearly the same length but what about the driving? Boot space once back seats folded?

Hey Mate, How would you compare drive comfort of new Kodiaq with added launch edition pack which has dynamic chassi control and overall ride quality for passagers in all rows with Mazda CX-80 GT petrol ? I know they are at a different price point atleast 8-10 K apart but I was inclined towrds CX-80 due to having a tag of Japanese reliability and feels more spacious inside especially on 3rd row but what if it ends up being more bumps and body roll ? Confused between the 2 at the moment. Also saw kia sorrento, looks sexy and great interior but my head touches roof in 3rd row I am 5ft 11. Keen to have some input for new Kodiaq vs cx-80, Ta!

How does the boot and third row compare to an MU-X or Everest?

What you are driving is not 110 kw but 142 kw or 193 hp...and when you use off launch control, it can be up to 1 sec faster

Skoda has only 3 major markets Europe, China and India now due to heavy Competition in China it has to leave China and Its Indian subsidiary doesn’t have enough models to sell in 3rd biggest market and Skoda owned Owned by VW is closing Manufacturing plants

The only thing that German cars are better than Chinese cars is the driving pleasure. Apart from that, they have no competitive advantage in technology. Volkswagen is finished. Who will be next? Audi?
