Traffic Collision Near Hwy 86 Expy & Ave 52 in Coachella

On Saturday, September 28th, firefighters were dispatched to a traffic collision near the intersection of Highway 86 Expressway and Avenue 52 in the city of Coachella. The first arriving engine reported a solo vehicle that had rolled over multiple times and landed on its side, with a victim trapped. After firefighters stabilized the vehicle, they used hydraulic tools to extricate the sole occupant, who had serious injuries. The patient was transported by ground ambulance to a local area hospital for treatment.
