The U.S. government realized, during the nineteen sixties, that it was by giving Black revolutionary leaders national media attention that their popularity and influence grew - against the interests of the white society. Therefore it no longer provides national media platforms to true Black revolutionaries. It only provides national media platforms to Black puppet leaders that it control. The U.S. government now denies true Black revolutionaries from national media platforms literally in the same way that a gardener denies weeds of water and fertilizer to prevent it from spreading through a garden.

White social scientists also determined that by preventing the rise of a new Black messiah, that Black youths would then perceive Black celebrities as being informal Black leaders. They then used blaxploitation films, and then later the Hip Hop industry, to steer Black culture away from the empowering Black Pride movement into the now Black self deprecating era of Niggerism.
