The Sun King Home 8000 is a high- power solar inverter designed to replace the electric grid and expensive fuel generators. The Home 8000 features a 2.56kWh battery, a 2000W inverter and either 900W or 1800W of solar power.

It charges from both solar energy and a grid connection, when available, and can power a wide range of standard, alternating-current (AC) appliances including light bulbs, televisions, refrigerators, speakers, electric fans, mobile phones and laptops.
