I had to take apart my Xbox to replace the fried hard drive, and I was too lazy to put it back together. So I was using the blu-ray player and managed to yank the new hard drive out without noticing. Then about 20 minutes later I see the hard drive and see what I can do without it. I got a too long to start error for a game, but the guide and interface was working like normal!!

I’m only having the blue screen problem, not exactly sure why but will replacing the hard drive potentially fix this?

I'm having these exact symptoms randomly 2 or 3 times a week. The computer keeps working slowly and sudenly it stops working and I get the same Blue screen with Critical Process Died. This happens on Windows but on Linux on the other SSD, everything works fine. So now I am very confident that it is an issue with Windows SSD or the Sata cable/port it is using. Thanks!

While windows 10 goes into bsod, windows 7 slowly dies until screen goes black and then pc won`t turn off automaticly so you need to turn it off manually

Thanks for the video as I was removing hdd and replacing it with ssd . What will happen if storage is removed and the computer is started ?

What would happen if you took out the D drive, would that mess anything up or will you just not be able to access the drive anymore?
