“I’d actually forgotten about this song but it was great to listen to it again

The story is - it was only ever a demo, never released - i wrote it with Paul Bliss ( who i wrote HEART ATTACK with, Olivia Newton John recorded it as Heart Attack as the follow up to Physical

I don’t know how this demo got on the internet and became a mystery but I’m glad it’s been solved

For those that don't know, Steve Kipner is a living yacht rock legend! In fact, this image is taken from his peak yacht rock album from 1979, "Knock The Walls Down." He co-wrote the yacht rock essential song, "Nothin' You Can Do About It" for the short-lived group Airplay (David Foster & Jay Graydon). His track, "The Ending, " from 1979 has one of the best examples of a great yacht rock guitar solo performed by Jay Graydon. Bonus fact, he co-wrote Olivia Newton-John's 1981 hit, "Physical." Kipner knows how to keep the fire! 🛥🔥

okay this had always been my favorite „lost song“, like, I‘ve heard so many lost songs like the classic „Ulterior Motives“ but I didn‘t ever find one I would actually listen to until I stumbled upon the „what do you want from me“ I am beyond overjoyed it was found

The sample that has been circulating for years on the net comes from a remix I made in the past.
