Holy shit. Nick Cave is second to none on stage. Caught the bad seeds a couple years ago live; I really don't think this type of interaction is unique or staged. He, and the band really don't seem to give a flying fuck about the unspoken divides between artist and audience.

Seeing the band live is as spiritual and intimate (even in a ~1500 seat venue where I caught them) as this video suggests. Very few shows have matched the vibe that The Bad Seeds produced. This is heart at work, not brains
