Actually, the oldest known koi fish lived to be 230 years old, and if taken care of properly and keeping them clean of parasites or viruses they can live to be around 100-120 years in captivity... I assume those are like family fish like in big Korean families or sum because idk how so many in captivity has outlived the average human lifespan😂

Also, going on to the intelligence part...
Along with being able to recognize theyre owners faces, they can also recognize they're owners voice and grow deep connections with them. They can also learn certain commands, they are very intelligent and sweet creatures, different than most fish, they are my favorite actually.
