Marcelo Suárez-Orozco is Wasserman Dean and professor of the UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies and Chancellor- elect at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. His research is on conceptual and empirical problems in the areas of cultural psychology and psychological anthropology with a focus on the study of mass migration, globalization, and education. He was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Science in 2014.
