The most impressive and most desirable Toyota Land Cruiser was revealed at Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, in the form of what's called the "Black Cruiser." This is a modified, all-blacked-out version of the beloved 70 series Land Cruiser with special packaging and exclusive off-road features. This is still technically a "concept" vehicle but David Chao thinks this could be the next limited edition version of the Land Cruiser 70 series. Watch to find out why David thinks this is the best Land Cruiser ever.

The only reason the Toyota 70 series LandCruiser is not permitted in North America is because our corrupt government representatives were compromised by the big 3 auto makers who petitioned Congress not to allow them in the United States. They didn't want the competition. I will only buy Toyota vehicles. 😊 Thanks for the tour David.

David, I think based on the comments for this video, could you please to do a video explaining why Toyota hasn’t (or won’t) bring this amazing vehicle to North America. I think others would also like to know why they haven’t widen the rear axle to match the front.

I want that one. Literally that one. Wish they’d sell these here in the states!!!

David, I live in Dubai and the LC70 2024 is sold here. Both the 3 door and the 5 door. It’s sold in the 4.0l gasoline variant. The pick up truck version is also sold here. This is the car that holds legendary status on the dunes. Your vids were a big part of why I purchased the 2023 Lexus GX. Love your enthusiasm for the Land Cruiser family of vehicles. A small part of me regrets not considering the LC70. Love the 2024 model. Also love my GX (Range Rover comfort with go anywhere capabilities and legendary reliability). Should I get the LC70 as well? I was thinking of getting an RCF!! 😂

The waiting list for this would be years long if they sold it in the US...

This difference between this Land Cruiser and G Wagon; The Mercedes will die after 75k miles. This Toyota will run for 500k miles! 🙌🏼💪🏼🇺🇸

Hi David.. I love your auto info and auto videos.. But you should use your celebrity status and influence over Toyota/Lexus to get them to bring the Landcruiser 70's series to North America. I am sure they would listen to you. I would love to own one, but I don't want to move to Japan to buy one. I know you like the GR Yaris.. That's great... But not for me.. But I would totally love to get the new Landcruiser 70's series..

David, If the 70 Series 4 door is the 'real deal' 3:21 then the 70 Series 2 door is the Really Real Deal.🤩🤩 Surely, adding frills is antithetical to the true spirit and soul of the 70 Series and an authentic Land Cruiser ought to come with plain paint, steel wheels and a manual transmission. 🤔 Thank goodness the 1GR-FE V6 and 5 speed manual are still being installed in the 70 Series in 2024. 😁

At first glance .. The first thing I thought.. Is this coming to North America??.. Simple design.. Everything simple. And with high roofline and good outward visibility (which is super important for safety, room and driving enjoyment).. Currently almost every Toyota/Lexus has a lower roofline and very poor outward visibility - and they are overly complex.

Why do they not sell the 70 series LC in the USA?

Beautiful no doubt! These vehicles that are made in Japan are highly appreciated because they are a work of art! That’s why I just picked up my 2024 TRD PRO ICE CAP 4RUNNER and it’s incredible! We have a 2022 TRD OFF ROAD TACOMA and everyone was telling me that there was a difference in the quality of the build and they were right. Unfortunately my Tacoma model doesn’t stand a chance against the overall build quality of the 4Runner! Always look forward to seeing your videos! Thank you David!!!

I respect what the 70 is. I'd even like to have a troopy one day. My heart will forever be for the 80 series though; I wish you could still buy a 1997 new!

The 70 series is the best vehicle that ever came out of Japan's automotive industry. You'll only find 70 series in Africa, Middle East, South America, Australia, and the Pacifica region outback. Very capable, reliable, and durable. ❤
