Emmett’s thoughts behind the concept: The laptop is 1cm thin and 1kg light, so he wanted to exaggerate this and make the laptop float in the image as if it were “weightless”.
The manufacturing process of the laptop’s Plasma Ceramic Aluminum lid is nonhazardous and doesn’t use any strong acids or heavy metals, and its keycaps and speakers are partly made from recycled plastics making it a more sustainable production.
Since the design of Zenbook S 13 OLED is inspired by sustainability, Emmett wanted to show this intersection between nature and technology in the photograph. His team shot this photo in a jungle and created a futuristic look with a beam of light from their drone.
