After their investigation comes to a halt, because they can't get access to a suspect who happens to be a worker from 'VIP Liasons', a prositute and escort service, Castle decides to call and hire a prostitute, to Beckett's anger. After explaining to Beckett that he isn't a cop and therefore is able to hire one, he announces to the precinct that he has decided to buy them a little gift.

Castle stars Nathan Fillion as Richard 'Rick' Castle and Stana Katic as Det. Katherine 'Kate' Beckett alongside Jon Huertas as Det. Javier Esposito, Seamus Dever as Det. Kevin Ryan, Tamala Jones as Dr. Lanie Parish, Molly C. Quinn as Alexis Castle, Susan Sullivan as Martha Rogers and Penny Johnson Jerald as Captain Victoria "Iron" Gates. Castle also formerly starred Ruben Santiago-Hudson as Captain Roy Montgomery.
