I think Richard Mille watches are over hype and overprice . For $100, 000 I will rather buy a Frank Muller, IWC, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe and A Lange Sohne.

From the close-ups, it seems like a lot of small problems given the high cost. I saw swarf, problems with casting/machining and sloppy paint overruns. Some of the cogs even seemed to have slight errors. If I'd paid so much I would be very disappointed indeed. I guess they're assuming no one was going to look so closely.

These watches are aimed at rich people that want to stand out in a crowd of other rich people. There's no point in saying (which i would agree with) that you could spend 10k on a great watch and the other 90k on a nearly new 911, etc

Looks too loud and kinda cheap. The brand exists since 1999 and for that money you can buy Rolex watches, AP watches or even Both 😌

They just have bad economies of scale. Thats like saying building your own proprietary smartphone would cost 100k. This watch is still overpriced
