How To Disappear Completely performed by Radiohead

From the album Kid A
(HD/HQ audio)

That there
That's not me
I go
Where I please
I walk through walls
I float down the Liffey
I'm not here
This isn't happening
I'm not here
I'm not here

In a little while
I'll be gone
The moment's already passed
Yeah it's gone
And I'm not here
This isn't happening
I'm not here
I'm not here

Strobe lights and blown speakers
Fireworks and hurricanes
I'm not here
This isn't happening
I'm not here
I'm not here

Thom Yorke said "if i had to choose one song to be remembered by it would be 'How To Disappear Completely', because its the most beautiful song the bands ever done." I agree.

Thom says if he were to be remembered, he'd like to be remembered by this song. I couldn't agree more. This is one of the best ones by Radiohead.

I have to say this song hits a chord with me, I've never felt loved or accepted by anyone, and when I finally found a girlfriend I felt like there was finally someone who cared, because in my family there is no one I can relate to or indeed truly tries to relate to me. So when my girlfriend broke up with me, I felt hollow, as if there was no purpose, and emptiness consumed me, and yet when I heard this song, I cried, memories of pain washed over me, yet I also felt that perhaps this pain should act as inspiration or fuel towards what will make me happy, and in that moment even if I felt totally alone, I was given this idea of hope, that one day soon, shit will get better

It's been over 6 minutes and I'm still visible. Thoroughly disappointed. You'll be hearing from my lawyer.

the really horrible thing is when you're caught in the limbo of only partially existing, when you're forced to acknowledge your existence and at the same time the fact that it's also inconsequential. i can't assert my self any more than this, so i'd much rather just disappear completely

I heard this song in the background of a show and I was like "that has to be Radiohead." It's great that Thom Yorke's voice is THAT unique that no matter where you hear it and how faintly you can awlays tell it's him.

Now here's to the one song in the universe I simply can not listen to on a regular basis. On most of my Kid A spins I just have to skip this piece, and not because I dislike it. I'm having a hard time listening to this song because it packs so much heavy emotions, and it sweeps through my soul every single time. A challenge to sit through, but I'm rewarded every time I do, and time on time again it proves why Radiohead is my favourite group. Musicianship at it's finest.

I'm from France. The events from last night brought me to this song.

"This is isn't happening. I'm not here."

The first song that got me into Radiohead.. It really was a change of perspective for me. Never felt this kind of feeling from music before listening to this band.

A complete landscape of a song. I can't tell you the journey my mind takes when I'm listening to this.

I remembered one time when my dad said that these guys were poets, and thinking about it, it's incredibly true.

Whenever I feel depressed I go to read this song's comment section so I can cringe at all the emo comments and man the fuck up.
