I believe the story conceptually speaking was inspired by an actual historical location (possibly the Ziggurat of Ur). But in context of the story it's obviously metaphor. One, why would the so-called Creator want 2 limit us by keeping us ignorant, Two, the builders eventually would start having difficulty with maintaining sufficient oxygen levels once they built to certain heights...😂😅!!!

@7:18 First, I had questions by beginning with who exactly were they quoting in Genesis 1?... Second, in my 1589 Bible, the term, "Lord" is defined as: "Ba'al"... So here's some important points I've figured out: AFTER much research I've discovered there is a difference between, Lord, god, God, Lord God, the god of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, God Almighty and GOD... And personally, I don't think any of them are the Creator of All... As that doesn't have a name; it is INEFFABLE. So, tell me, ANYONE, did you know GOD actually stands for, "Government Ordinance Department" and that's WHY the term was chosen? Third, the Bible, in the book of Ecclesiastes, DECLARED that Creator and all of Creation, "VANITY"!! HOW didn't anyone NOTICE? Today, when I see the word, "religion" I see, re-legion... referring to the, "legion of demons"...I know there's a lot of the Bible that has been corrupted, but there's still TRUTH to be found in those pages... That's what discernment is about. I don't believe children are born in sin, or that Jesus was sacrificed for ours, or that we are responsible for the sins of our fathers... Heck, what is a SIN, anyway, and who said so? I know that SIN refers to, "social insurance number" and that was placed upon me by no fault of my own. I also know there is a Creator of All, and that we are currently in a, "state of Hell on Earth", but I know too, that HEAVEN is WITHIN me, just as, "Christ" is, so I have the power to change my circumstance. For me, the Tower of Babel is the Law: it has become so convoluted and cumbersome by the use of, "flowery language" that has multiple meanings, it could stretch to Heaven; NOBODY could possibly understand them ALL; YET, we began with just ONE: to, "Do no HARM" here, and we have FAILED at that, miserably. I had an out of body experience when I was a kid.
I remember floating out of my body and seeing a trail of silver behind me and all around me. And I was floating in blackness. I could also see what looked like a small earth, a little bit bigger than a golf ball.
The sound I heard was a rhythmic hum, like the sound of a UFO humming. I also felt the rhythmic hum in what was my spirits soul.
When this happened to me, I was so scared, but curious too. There was no scents of anything.
