Just some quick tips. It’s slow. Give it time. The descaling process takes over 20mins. When it’s done the light will stop flashing. Don’t add more water. Don’t press any buttons. Just let it figure out it’s done. Takes annoyingly long. Once it’s done blinking all you do is rinse the water container and fill it once it’s been cleaned. Then place it back and press the start button and it will be orange then press the start button one more time. I’d rinse it a few times to make sure the descale stuff is out.

Last time I descaled mine, it needed a lot of water. In this video the tank was barely full. I needed to keep topping mine up with water

This is truly the most ridiculous, opaque, poorly done descaling / cleaning process that has been the case since this machine was invented. Nespresso, it should not be this difficult. Get your act together and put a video up that actually tells your customers what to expect.

If you call Nespresso they will actually walk you through the process through a video call and watch it the whole time to make sure it is not a machine issue.

My Nespresso Vertuo is still quite new, and everything is clean and in perfect condition, just like brand new. However, I’m still struggling to find a solution—90% of the brewed coffee or cleaning cycle water keeps pouring out to the pod discharge chamber, not from the main valve? Any suggestion?

I did entire descaling/rinse process but the green/red light is still on. Any idea why? 🙏

Does the flashing orange stop when it’s done descaling or just keep flashing like mine is? The water/solution is pumped through but it’s still flashing orange and doing nothing. I expected a green light to indicate it’s done

My Vertuo plus won't start the cleaning or descaling process.. the orange light starts to blink, then it just goes to a Red light. I've tried factory resetting and it still does the same.
